About DeepSource Technologies

DeepSource Technologies is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen its cloud security posture. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, KSA, and is exclusively open to Saudi nationals. The successful candidate will be instrumental in securing cloud environments and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The Role of Senior Security Engineer

The Senior Security Engineer will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures within DeepSource's cloud infrastructure, primarily across AWS and Azure platforms. This role involves ensuring adherence to both local and international cybersecurity regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security architectures and frameworks for cloud solutions, with a focus on AWS and Azure environments.
  • Configure and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, policies, and permissions to enforce strong access controls and governance.
  • Monitor cloud environments for security events, respond to incidents, conduct vulnerability assessments, and remediate issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, regulations, and standards relevant to cloud security, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
  • Develop automation scripts to enhance security operations and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and compliance teams to integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in cloud security roles, with a strong focus on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in security best practices for cloud architectures and services.
  • Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation techniques for cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with container security and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
