About the Role

CEER is seeking a Senior Specialist Logistics Procurement to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to supporting our inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness in transportation and supplier management.

Role Overview

The Senior Specialist Logistics Procurement will play a key role in managing and optimizing logistics procurement activities. This includes fostering strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless coordination of shipments to align with production and distribution schedules. The role also involves performance monitoring, process improvement, and strategic sourcing to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and logistics service providers to ensure smooth coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Support contract negotiations and establish service agreements with logistics providers, focusing on cost-effectiveness, compliance, and quality service delivery.
  • Assist in optimizing transportation operations, including trucking, rail, and ocean freight, by selecting appropriate routes, modes, and carriers to minimize transit times and costs.
  • Monitor and analyze freight market trends to identify and mitigate risks, while capitalizing on cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure alignment between production schedules and inbound material deliveries, as well as outbound distribution requirements, to guarantee on-time dispatch and delivery.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for logistics procurement, such as on-time delivery and transportation costs, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, customs regulations, and trade compliance standards for shipments.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within logistics procurement operations.
  • Support new sourcing strategies and Vendor Management to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
  • Assist in ERP and logistics system implementations to improve data accuracy, visibility, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, finance, and operations teams to align logistics procurement strategies with broader business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant logistics or procurement field.
