The Opportunity

EXP Arabia is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer, Mining to join its collaborative Mining team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working alongside multidisciplinary professionals to deliver practical and innovative solutions for complex mining projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations in accordance with applicable codes and standards within the mining and heavy industrial sectors.
• Prepare sketches and collaborate with designers to produce detailed drawings.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, reports, and scope documents.
• Undertake detailed working drawings for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
• Implement safety and integrity principles in all structural documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly within the mining sector.
• Demonstrated versatility and reliability in engineering roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional presentation, both internally and externally, including attire, engagement, and meeting preparation.
• Proven presentation skills through internal and external technical presentations and white papers.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position. The successful candidate will contribute positively to EXP's overall culture and the local office environment.
