About the Senior System Analyst Role

Saudi Xerox is seeking a Senior System Analyst for a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to the enterprise cloud transformation, focusing on designing, governing, and delivering secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions across public cloud platforms. The Senior System Analyst will define cloud architecture strategies, lead migration and modernization initiatives, establish cloud foundations, and enable DevOps practices to ensure reliable, automated, and secure service delivery aligned with business and technology objectives.

Cloud Architecture and Strategic Planning

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures for enterprise workloads and cloud-native applications across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Develop cloud architecture strategies aligned with organizational objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Define migration approaches, including rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild, and replace strategies, based on business and technical requirements.
• Evaluate cloud solutions and recommend scalable, secure, and cost-effective architecture designs.
• Contribute to cloud adoption roadmaps and modernization plans.
• Develop reusable cloud architecture patterns, standards, and deployment frameworks.

Implementation and Operational Excellence

• Lead enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives using industry best practices and structured migration frameworks.
• Define and implement cloud landing zones that meet governance, security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Ensure operational readiness through monitoring, logging, observability, disaster recovery, and reliability best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent automation tools.
• Support the implementation of DevOps and platform engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using cloud-native services and automation technologies.
• Promote DevOps, DevSecOps, containerization, and automation best practices across projects.
• Support continuous improvement of cloud platforms and infrastructure capabilities.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Governance

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout cloud migration and transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities by conducting architecture workshops, developing solution designs, and contributing to technical proposals.
• Engage with customers and cloud service providers to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Ensure cloud architectures comply with organizational governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote cloud architecture standards, best practices, and enterprise design principles.
• Incorporate identity and access management (IAM), security controls, and resilience into solution designs.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Required certifications include Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Preferred certifications include Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, and Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD).
• Relevant DevOps or cloud engineering certifications are advantageous.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud consulting, infrastructure engineering, or related roles.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD implementation.
