The Role: Senior Technical Office Engineer

Bayut KSA is seeking a Senior Technical Office Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to managing financial aspects across development projects, specifically focusing on cost control, tendering processes, contract administration, and overall financial coordination. The primary objective is to ensure commercial accuracy and strict contractual compliance throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Conduct technical and financial evaluations of contractor quotations.
• Manage contractor payments, invoices, claims, and variation orders.
• Prepare project cash flow forecasts and comprehensive cost control reports.
• Coordinate effectively between consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Review shop drawings to ensure full alignment with project specifications.
• Monitor project budgets and forecast financial performance accurately.
• Ensure consistent compliance with contractual terms and established cost control procedures.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a technical office engineering capacity, with a proven track record in cost control, tendering, and contract administration for development projects. A strong understanding of financial coordination and project management principles is essential for success in this role.
