KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions offers comprehensive value-added solutions across the entire asset lifecycle, including licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical expertise, and smart solutions. KBR is currently expanding its Project Management Office Consultancy (PMO) team for a significant infrastructure development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Training & Induction Manager Saudi National to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role will be based at the client’s offices. The primary purpose of this position is to manage induction processes for mobilizing Project Management Consultants (PMCs), contractors, and design consultants, while also developing and implementing comprehensive learning and development strategies. The Manager will assess skill requirements, vet PMC trainers, and ensure compliance with orientation standards across various critical areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onboarding and orientation for mobilizing employees.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations.
  • Identify gaps in existing training content and materials that require updating to enhance knowledge and safety standards.
  • Develop training programs specifically designed to support the career growth of recent university graduates.
  • Research new training supplies and materials to improve training procedures and provide value to employees.
  • Identify future training needs and create corresponding curricula.
  • Communicate effectively with management, trainers, and team members to ensure all training needs are met.
  • Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
  • Resolve specific training-related problems and tailor programs as necessary.
  • Oversee training and development staff.
  • Align training initiatives with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Create and manage training budgets.
  • Develop and implement new training programs.
  • Review and select appropriate training materials from various vendors.
  • Update existing training programs to maintain their relevance and effectiveness.
  • Teach training methods and skills to instructors and supervisors.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and instructors.
  • Maintain accurate training records for compliance purposes and track employee progress.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in training and development.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Association for Talent Development (ATD), or similar recognized qualifications.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work from the client’s offices within Riyadh, supporting a high-profile infrastructure development project.
