The Role of Senior Workforce Allocation Officer

The Senior Workforce Allocation Officer is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and management of manpower deployment within the labor camp. This role ensures optimal utilization of the workforce, timely allocation, and adherence to relevant labor laws and company policies, contributing to the smooth execution of daily operations. The position serves as a primary point of contact between Camp Management, Operations, Project Teams, Supervisors, and workers to align workforce availability with operational demands and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently allocate workforce resources to meet daily operational and project requirements.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain workforce deployment plans based on project schedules and manpower needs.
• Track workforce availability and deployment to ensure appropriate resources are available at the correct time and location.
• Coordinate with Operations and project teams for smooth and timely workforce mobilization and allocation.
• Analyze workforce data, utilization levels, attendance patterns, and staffing trends to enhance allocation strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of workforce assignments, availability, transfers, and deployment status.
• Prepare regular reports on manpower allocation, utilization, attendance, availability, and staffing requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between Camp Management and Project Teams regarding workforce needs and deployment priorities.
• Coordinate with supervisors to understand daily manpower requirements and resolve allocation issues.
• Monitor worker attendance, productivity, performance, and availability, escalating concerns to relevant management.
• Identify manpower shortages, excess resources, and deployment gaps, recommending corrective actions.
• Support workforce planning and forecasting based on operational requirements and upcoming project activities.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and workers regarding assignments, transfers, schedules, and deployment.
• Perform other duties related to workforce management as assigned.

Compliance and Operational Excellence

A critical aspect of this role involves ensuring all workforce allocation activities comply with applicable labor laws, company policies, contractual requirements, and internal procedures. The Senior Workforce Allocation Officer will also support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness programs, and contribute to incident reporting, investigation, and resolution in line with company and Integrated Management System (IMS) policies. Identifying opportunities to improve workforce utilization, allocation processes, and overall operational efficiency is also expected.

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively across various departments to manage complex workforce logistics.
