ServiceNow Architect

About the Role

CTC is seeking a ServiceNow Architect for a contract role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This independent contractor position is for a duration of 3+ months and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management for both cloud and on-premises infrastructure, focusing on ITOM & CMDB Architecture.
• Design, build, and optimize CMDB health dashboards, data certification schedules, and reconciliation rules to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Architect, build, and maintain deep bi-directional integrations between ServiceNow ITOM and third-party observability/monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, AppDynamics, and Grafana.
• Configure event rules, correlation rules, alert profiles, and automated remediation workflows using Flow Designer/Integration Hub to translate system alerts into actionable incidents.
• Develop advanced and efficient JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, and custom patterns for complex discovery and integration scenarios.
• Manage Access Control Lists (ACLs), secure credential configurations within the MID Server architecture, and enforce platform development best practices to ensure Platform Security & Compliance.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during architecture reviews, mentor junior developers, and translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant role.

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL v4 Foundation or Managing Professional certification.
• Industry certifications in specific observability platforms or cloud environments (*, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Datadog/Dynatrace certifications).
