ServiceNow Scrum Master

About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking a ServiceNow Scrum Master to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on driving the adoption of Agile and Scrum practices across IT and digital transformation initiatives. The position is critical for enabling effective delivery, fostering high-performing teams, promoting continuous improvement, and increasing the organization's Agile maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption and implementation of Agile and Scrum methodologies across various projects and transformation initiatives.
• Introduce Agile practices, frameworks, tools, and standards to enhance delivery effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain Scrum processes, guidelines, and ways of working.
• Support teams transitioning to Agile and drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective execution of Sprint activities.
• Monitor sprint progress, backlog delivery, capacity, risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams on backlog management, prioritization, and refinement.
• Ensure delivery progress, risks, and issues are transparent to all stakeholders.

Accountabilities

• Delivery: Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to schedules, utilizing resources effectively within cost and time constraints. Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and task execution.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve related problems that arise, escalating complex operational issues as necessary.
• Quality: Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
• Business Process Improvement: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and identify automation opportunities.
• Compliance: Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field. The role requires supporting Agile delivery across digital transformation, technology, and IT initiatives.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, contributing to IT and digital transformation initiatives within alfanar Group.
