About the Role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Shift Leader to join their team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a 2-month contract position, specifically open to Saudi nationals. The role involves overseeing the maintenance and operational aspects of tools, appliances, and equipment, while also supporting management in various employee-related functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment, recommending replacements as needed.
• Calibrate all controls, gauges, and meters, and identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies, maintaining inventory and purchase order logs.
• Inspect tools, equipment, or machines and utilize computers for work-related information.
• Operate power lifts and complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems, and assist in developing disaster response protocols.
• Respond to and attend to guest repair requests promptly.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Ensure adherence to company and safety/security policies, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of proprietary information, and welcome guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and foster positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Support the team in achieving common goals, respond appropriately to employee concerns, and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new methods to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
• Communicate professionally, visually inspect equipment, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, grasping, standing, sitting, walking, and moving on stairs/ramps.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in identifying, locating, and operating shut-off valves.
• Ability to use computers for work-related information.
• Experience operating power lifts.
• Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment and Contract Details
