About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a shift Leader to manage all aspects of housekeeping and laundry operations. This full-time role focuses on maintaining high standards to ensure a consistent guest experience. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team to uphold housekeeping and laundry standards.
• Maintain and order supplies and equipment, with an emphasis on waste reduction in support of green initiatives.
• Assist in refining and preparing budgets to maximize profitability.
• Address special requests from guests, VIPs, repeat visitors, and VIP Club members.
• Support deep cleaning projects and assist the team during peak periods.
• Educate team members on compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
• Understanding of housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Familiarity with budget preparation and cost control.
