The Role of Site Civil Engineer

Qamat Al Tameer is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves overseeing daily site activities for civil and structural works, ensuring project progress and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities related to reinforced concrete and structural works, including foundations, columns, walls, and slabs.
• Coordinate formwork, reinforcement, concrete pours, material delivery, equipment usage, and overall site logistics.
• Monitor productivity and project progress against the established project programme.
• Coordinate with Survey, QA/QC, HSE, and consultant teams to ensure works comply with quality, dimensional tolerances, and inspection requirements.
• Raise inspection requests, address consultant comments and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and support project handover processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering roles, specifically with strong experience in coordinating with other disciplines, consultants, and contractors.
• Proven track record in site follow-up, quality control, inspections, and project handovers.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, formwork, concrete testing, and hot-weather concreting practices.
• Good knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Strong awareness of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

Work Type and Location
