About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a Site Merchandiser for the Amazon Now MENA Grocery team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves building new business initiatives from the ground up within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing best-in-class site merchandising and customer engagement strategies, ensuring customer experience and expectations are met to a high standard.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Site Merchandiser will operate in an entrepreneurial setting, requiring the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities. This involves understanding complex business, technology, and operations processes at Amazon and with partners, then devising optimal engagement models. The role requires strong judgment, analytical talent, and concise communication skills, particularly in document writing.

• Own store merchandising and curations.
• Run and analyze proof of performance reports.
• Learn and utilize merchandising tools and widgets.
• Assist in executing the plan according to the site merchandising calendar, including email programs, new product launches, cross-category placements, and Amazon site-wide events.
• Contribute to browse tree design and search results optimization.
• Assist in developing merchandising for large store-wide promotions, collaborating with category managers and the merchandising team to schedule promotions.
• Plan and execute customer promotions, followed by performance analysis.
• Execute and schedule content across emails, push notifications, home pages, category pages, and other site pages based on provided instructions.
• Prepare performance and traffic data reports for management teams.
• Assist in the creation of new engagement-related content.
• Coordinate with category managers, designers, and other editors across the business.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience. The role demands a self-starter who can quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment, build trust with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership within the program. Essential skills include high judgment, analytical talent, and strong document writing skills with concise communication.
