This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of AI solutions within a collaborative environment.

Role Purpose and Focus

The Software Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of our transaction monitoring modules. This position encompasses three primary areas: ensuring a clean and healthy codebase with efficient development processes, delivering an evolving roadmap to meet client requirements, and leading a team of engineers to high standards through continuous improvement, hiring, and mentoring. The role involves ownership of systems critical for detecting financial crime.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the strategy for your team and the transaction monitoring modules it manages.
• Guide and mentor engineers, assisting them in their career development while maintaining team cohesion.
• Build scalable and reliable services through ongoing improvements to engineering processes.
• Collaborate with product managers to lead team projects, managing stakeholders, dependencies, roadmaps, alignment, and cost.
• Actively contribute to the evolution of our overall architecture, particularly for systems and products managed by your team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, including experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Proficiency in building complex, high-quality applications.
• Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and microservice architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in selecting design patterns and principles when developing software architecture.
• A detail-oriented communicator who works autonomously and performs effectively within a fast-moving team.
