The Role: Software Project Manager - Telco

Squadio is seeking a full-time Software Project Manager - Telco to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This role involves overseeing the successful execution of software projects, specifically within the telecommunications sector, ensuring they meet defined objectives, timelines, and budget constraints. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and external third parties/vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for project needs.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track and monitor progress effectively.
  • Utilize appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using relevant systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate project status and issues to management as required.
  • Manage relationships with clients and all project stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to identify and minimize potential project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A strong educational background, preferably in computer science or engineering, is essential for technical project managers.
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator within the information technology sector.
  • A solid technical background, including an understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is considered a significant advantage.

Essential Skills

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Solid organizational skills, including keen attention to detail and the capacity for multi-tasking.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a global remote-first IT service provider. The role involves collaboration with diverse teams located across multiple international regions.
