Solution/Application Architect

About the Role

Nextwo Co. is seeking a Solution/Application Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role combines solution and application architecture with hands-on technical and R&D capabilities. The architect will be responsible for solution design and design assurance for assigned applications and domains, while also contributing to modernization efforts, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), engineering improvements, and emerging technology initiatives.

Role Context and Impact

This position is central to ensuring the development of scalable, resilient, and maintainable architectures across various applications. The Solution/Application Architect will play a key role in assessing technical options, driving architectural decisions, and evaluating new technologies to support the company's strategic objectives and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive solution design for assigned applications, ensuring scalable, resilient, and maintainable architectures.
• Participate in technical grooming, feasibility assessment, and High-Level Design (HLD)/Low-Level Design (LLD) and assurance.
• Define and review APIs, integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
• Ensure key Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including performance, scalability, resilience, security, and observability.
• Assess technical options and support architecture decisions.
• Identify and drive modernization, optimization, and reusable solution opportunities.
• Build and evaluate PoCs to validate design decisions and new technologies.
• Contribute to engineering automation, AI enablement, and R&D initiatives.
• Collaborate with Development, SDO, Integration, DevOps, Security, and other technical teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant technical role.
• Demonstrated expertise in solution and application architecture.
• Proven ability to design scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves close collaboration with various technical teams across the organization to achieve architectural excellence and drive innovation.
