About the Role

Saudi Airlines Catering Company is seeking a Specialist, Business Control to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position acts as a Finance Partner, playing a crucial role in bridging the gap between the finance department and business units. The Specialist provides strategic financial oversight and control, analyzes financial data, ensures accurate reporting, and delivers actionable insights to support decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Operations team on annual capital and operating budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Work closely with the regional finance team to ensure proper execution of month-end and year-end closings.
• Ensure transactions reflected in closings are valid and relevant to the respective periods.
• Perform monthly reporting in standard formats within established deadlines and provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end updates, including outlooks.
• Conduct necessary inquiries to explain variances between budgeted and actual figures.
• Prepare year-end reports for the full financial year and provide future projections aligned with Management's objectives and strategies.
• Monitor and control information communicated by the financial advisor during the month and at month-end to forecast results for the corresponding months.

Financial Analysis and Support

• Conduct simulations, forecasts, and studies on corporate consolidated results to meet the informational needs of all concerned managers for financial and operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with managers to develop and implement new documents, forms, or tools to facilitate and improve the reporting process.
• Ensure the accuracy of the financial data submitted by the Operation Team.
• Work with business units to manage and control costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Read and understand all customer and rental contracts, keep track of durations and values, and highlight any financial opportunities or risks.
• Provide financial education and support to non-finance teams.
• Be prepared for any ad hoc task or request by top management, covering both business and finance matters.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance General.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

Essential Requirements

• Residency in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Saudi nationality is required for this position.
