About the Role

DAR ENGINEERING is seeking a Sr. Contracts Administrator to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on the effective administration, management, and coordination of contracts from initiation through project closeout. The Senior Contracts Administrator ensures that all contractual obligations, commercial requirements, documentation, variations, claims, payments, and compliance matters are properly maintained and administered in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage contracts throughout their full lifecycle.
  • Monitor contractual obligations and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Coordinate contract documentation, correspondence, and records.
  • Review, process, and track contract variations and change orders.
  • Manage claims, disputes, and contractual risk-related matters.
  • Review and verify payment applications, invoices, and financial obligations.
  • Support commercial negotiations and contract amendments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors on contract-related matters.
  • Prepare contractual reports, analyses, and recommendations for management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in contracts administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration, and negotiation of change orders.
  • Proficiency in effective correspondence, planning, and scheduling.
  • Thorough knowledge of prime contracts management administration.
  • Experience in (sub)contract formation and administration, including pre-qualification, bid request compilation, bid receipt, bid evaluation, award, contractor performance monitoring, back charges, and resolution of claims and disputes.
  • Technical and administrative knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting practices.
  • Familiarity with government and commercial procurement regulations and practices, policies, procedures, and work practices related to multi-discipline construction projects.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The standard working week is a maximum of 48 hours.
