Core Responsibilities

The Sr. Cybersecurity Architecture Specialist will be responsible for designing and reviewing enterprise security architectures that align with SAMA CSF and relevant industry standards. A key aspect of this role involves embedding security-by-design principles across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments. The specialist will also lead security architecture transformation initiatives, particularly within banking sectors, and design and implement zero-trust architecture frameworks.

Key Duties and Deliverables

• Conducting security assessments for critical systems and applications.
• Developing security reference architectures for cloud and digital transformation projects.
• Providing expert recommendations to mitigate architectural risks.
• Collaborating effectively with stakeholders across IT, security, and business teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture is required. Strong knowledge of SAMA CSF and regulatory compliance is essential. Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as SABSA and TOGAF is also a key requirement.

Technical Skills and Expertise

• Experience in cloud security and zero-trust architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, AWS Security, or ISO 27001 are highly valued.
