About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Specialist Cybersecurity Architecture to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for establishing and maintaining robust cybersecurity defenses across the enterprise, contributing to the development of a secure technological landscape.

Role Purpose and Impact

The individual in this role will be responsible for defining, designing, and maintaining Qiddiya's enterprise cybersecurity architecture. This involves ensuring that security requirements are integrated into all solutions, infrastructure, cloud environments, and applications from the initial design phase through their entire lifecycle, thereby safeguarding critical assets and data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain enterprise cybersecurity architecture frameworks and standards.
  • Review solution, infrastructure, cloud, and application architectures to embed security requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define security architecture principles, patterns, and reference architectures.
  • Conduct architecture risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, and Application teams to integrate security-by-design principles.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend secure implementation approaches.
  • Support cloud security architecture across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud environments.
  • Define requirements for Identity & Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust, network segmentation, encryption, and privileged access.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements (NCA ECC, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity architecture or a closely related field. A proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure enterprise solutions is essential.

Technical Acumen and Compliance

The position requires in-depth knowledge of various cybersecurity domains, including Identity & Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust principles, network segmentation, encryption, and privileged access management. Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud is necessary. Furthermore, candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements, including NCA ECC, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
