This full-time position for a Lead Specialist, Cybersecurity Architect II, based in Riyadh, offers a significant opportunity to contribute to Ma'aden's strategic growth and shape the future of mining in the Kingdom.

Role Overview

The Lead Specialist, Cybersecurity Architect II, operates within the Cyber Security division, holding primary responsibility for defining and managing the enterprise cybersecurity architecture. This critical role encompasses all Ma'aden Corporate and Business Units, extending across operations in Saudi Arabia, India, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, and Mauritius.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, assess, and execute the Enterprise Cybersecurity Architecture to effectively support Ma'aden's cybersecurity posture and digitization plans.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) technology guidance, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices to deliver and maintain the Cyber Security Architecture strategic roadmap.
  • Build the enterprise security architecture and participate in design reviews for Ma'aden's mega projects and expansion plans.
  • Ensure appropriate technical standards and security controls are defined for the group's IT infrastructure, applications, and cross-group assets.
  • Perform evaluation and selection of new security solutions.
  • Support the implementation of new digital and technology solutions.
  • Report key Security Architecture issues for escalation and decision-making.
  • Manage Cybersecurity risk assessments and impact analysis activities in line with Ma'aden's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain Ma'aden's Cybersecurity Architecture framework, policies, and standards.
  • Act as an architecture board member in relevant Ma'aden technology boards.
  • Serve as a key SME for the Cyber Security Architecture 'Competence Centers,' acting as a best practice authority on methodologies and procedures.
  • Mentor and coach the team on both technical and managerial aspects.

Required Experience and Expertise

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity architecture. This role requires a strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-level security solutions, providing expert guidance, and managing security frameworks within a complex organizational structure.
