About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist - Cybersecurity Architecture to join its team in Riyadh Province, specifically in Riyadh. This full-time position is focused on designing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise cybersecurity frameworks and standards. The role is critical for ensuring that security requirements are integrated throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise cybersecurity architecture frameworks and standards.
• Review solution, infrastructure, cloud, and application architectures to ensure security requirements are embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define security architecture principles, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Conduct architecture risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, and Application teams to integrate security-by-design principles.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend secure implementation approaches.
• Support cloud security architecture across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud environments.
• Define requirements for Identity & Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust, network segmentation, encryption, and privileged access.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements, including NCA ECC, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in Cybersecurity Architecture or Security Engineering.

Technical Expertise

Candidates should possess strong technical expertise in defining and implementing robust security architectures. This includes practical experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, alongside a deep understanding of critical security concepts like Identity & Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust models, network segmentation, encryption, and privileged access management. Proficiency in applying leading cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory standards, including NCA ECC, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls, is essential for this role.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Province. The role involves close collaboration with various internal teams, requiring a dedicated presence to ensure effective integration of security principles across all initiatives.
