Sr. Structural Engineer

About the Role

Saudi Constructioneers is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. Structural Engineer to join its project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing structural engineering activities, reviewing designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards, and supporting the successful execution of construction projects.

Role Overview

The Sr. Structural Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of construction projects. The selected candidate will provide technical expertise and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from design review to site execution, ensuring all structural works meet required standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and supervise structural engineering works to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and project teams regarding structural requirements and technical issues.
• Review structural calculations, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
• Monitor site execution to ensure structural works are completed according to quality and safety standards.
• Provide technical support and resolve structural-related issues during project execution.
• Participate in inspections, testing activities, and project progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company procedures.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain proper project documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience in structural engineering within construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design principles, and construction practices.
• Experience in reviewing structural drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The Sr. Structural Engineer will work as part of a dedicated project team, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
