About the Opportunity

Klanik is seeking an experienced Stimulation Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a Well Review Specialist with a strong background in Gas Reservoirs, Frac & Stimulation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating well performance and identifying opportunities for production enhancement across various assets.

Role Focus and Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to conduct integrated reviews of well performance, encompassing both historical data and current operational metrics, to pinpoint areas for improvement. This involves applying deep expertise in gas reservoir dynamics and stimulation techniques to optimize well productivity and extend asset life. The engineer will be responsible for developing strategic actionable plans and proposing effective interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct integrated well reviews and evaluate historical and current well performance.
• Collaborate closely with geologists, reservoir engineers, production engineers, drilling, and production teams.
• Identify production enhancement opportunities and recommend remedial actions for underperforming wells.
• Develop actionable plans and maintain a comprehensive action/opportunity register.
• Mature opportunities for well revival and production enhancement.
• Prepare well intervention proposals and execution plans.
• Plan and support well surveillance activities, including well testing, wellhead sampling, static/dynamic surveys, and PLTs.
• Prepare comprehensive well review reports, progress reports, and recommendations for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must possess over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. A strong expertise in Gas Reservoirs, Frac & Stimulation is essential for success in this role, enabling effective analysis and strategic recommendations for well optimization and production enhancement initiatives.

This role operates within a dynamic team environment, requiring extensive collaboration with various technical and operational departments. The Stimulation Engineer will work alongside geologists, reservoir engineers, production engineers, and both drilling and production teams to ensure integrated approaches to well management and performance improvement strategies.
