Storage Backup Administrator (SAUDI ONLY)

About the Role

HCLTech is seeking a Storage Backup Administrator to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for an L1 Backup & Storage Engineer, suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in the field. The role focuses on monitoring and supporting backup operations and storage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support backup operations utilizing Dell PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), Networker Data Domain, and Veeam.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for backup failures, alerts, and storage-related issues.
• Conduct basic administration and monitoring of Dell PowerMax and PowerScale systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAN switches and connectivity problems.
• Execute daily health checks, log incidents, escalate complex issues, and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with L3 teams for the resolution of advanced technical problems.

Required Skills and Experience

• Basic knowledge of Networker, PPDM, Data Domain, PowerMax, PowerScale, and SAN switches.
• Understanding of backup, storage, SAN, and networking fundamentals.
• Good troubleshooting and monitoring skills.
