The Role: Store Administrative Associate
Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Store Administrative Associate for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to the efficient day-to-day operation of the cash office and provides essential administrative support to the store management team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing cash operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support store management in completing weekly and monthly audit checklists.
- Ensure the operational readiness of office and POS equipment through preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs, and general upkeep.
- Manage daily cash banking procedures and balance all monies received accurately.
- Update the Daily Sales Report (DSR) for submission to finance, highlighting any discrepancies.
- Act as the custodian for the store's petty cash and cash float.
- Verify that all in-store equipment functions according to required standards to ensure optimal customer experience.
- Report and follow up on any issues related to systems, operational standards, digital platforms, and facility management with the relevant departments until resolution.
- Oversee the ordering of office supplies, anticipate changing requirements, and ensure stock levels are maintained within budget.
Required Experience and Competencies
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in identifying and resolving cash discrepancies.
- In-depth knowledge of operational compliance requirements.
- Ability to complete all duties accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to support the store management team effectively.
