Storekeeper

About the Role

Ghithaa | غِذاء is seeking a Storekeeper to join its F&B operations in Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the efficient management of inventory, ensuring the proper receipt, storage, and rotation of food materials and packaging. The Storekeeper will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and optimal storage conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
• Organize and label stock within designated storage areas, including cold rooms and dry storage.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate stock records using manual or system-based tracking methods.
• Monitor expiry dates and implement FIFO/FEFO principles to minimize waste.
• Issue materials to kitchen and production teams based on requisitions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of all storage areas in adherence to hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items to the Procurement or Cost Control team.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for all food items, including chilled, frozen, and dry storage.
• Adhere to basic food safety and HACCP principles for food storage.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum high school diploma; a diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or Inventory Clerk.
• Experience in F&B, catering, or handling cold-chain/perishable goods is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience handling raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO stock rotation methods.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of inventory/ERP systems and Excel.
• Ability to read and process Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, and Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
• Basic accounting and inventory knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, honesty, and trustworthiness.
• Physical ability to handle lifting and moving stock.

This position is based in Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
