Storekeeper

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing the receipt, organization, and distribution of goods within the facility, ensuring proper inventory control and adherence to quality and safety standards. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and organize goods by department, marking them for correct warehouse location, and delivering them to the relevant departments.
• Stack received goods on pallets or trolleys and complete order forms for inventory and supply purposes.
• Notify a manager/supervisor in a timely manner in case of stock depletion.
• Receive deliveries, properly store perishables, and organize stock rotation.
• Check deliveries and times to verify freshness, cleanliness, conformity, and batch quality; refuse damaged, non-compliant, or incorrect items.
• Comply with sanitary rules and handling procedures in all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and disinfect refrigerators and freezers, floors, equipment, and pipes.
• Remove empty pallets, cartons, and waste, placing them in appropriate storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and all dangerous working conditions to the manager; follow training and obtain required safety certifications.
• Follow and apply all company policies and procedures; ensure wearing a clean and complete work uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Respect confidentiality in the dissemination of company information and protect all company property.
• Use clear, courteous, and professional language with customers and other employees, developing positive and constructive professional relationships.
• Comply with quality requirements and standards.
• Perform all other tasks requested by managers that correspond to the position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stretch, bend, turn, pull, and flex.
• Ability to grasp, rotate, and handle loads.
• Ability to climb stairs and/or service access.
• Ability to move, lift, or carry loads weighing a maximum of 23 kilograms.
• Accustomed to working standing, sitting, and being in motion for long periods of time.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
