Storekeeper

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on efficient merchandise management and adherence to quality standards within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, ensuring proper marking for placement and delivery to the appropriate areas.
• Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Notify management of low stock levels in a timely manner.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock to maintain freshness.
• Inspect deliveries and date items to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality across all case lots.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures in all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.

Operational Compliance and Safety

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, as well as sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and stairs/service ramps.

Team Collaboration

The Storekeeper will speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language. This role involves developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others and supporting the team to achieve common goals. Performance of other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors is also expected.
