Burjline Builders is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its Architecture & Design team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on delivering structural design and analysis for a diverse range of projects.

The Role of Structural Engineer

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for structural design and analysis across F&B, retail, hospitality, fit-out, and commercial projects. This role requires close collaboration with architects, interior designers, BIM teams, and project managers to provide safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions. The successful candidate will support both new developments and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with relevant local and international design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for restaurants, cafés, retail outlets, hospitality, and commercial fit-out projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, and BIM teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review architectural layouts and provide practical structural solutions during design development.
• Perform structural assessments for renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out projects.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and structural calculations.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure structural works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards, and safety regulations.
• Support project planning, cost optimization, and value engineering initiatives.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of proven experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Demonstrated experience in F&B, restaurant, café, retail, hospitality, commercial, and fit-out projects.
• GCC experience, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly preferred.
• Experience gained from leading architectural consultancies, engineering firms, or fit-out contractors is preferred.
• Expertise in structural coordination and fit-out solutions for various commercial and hospitality interiors is highly preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Architecture & Design team, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects.
