About the Role

Emirates Airline is seeking a Supervisor Airport Services to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves ensuring the delivery of timely, efficient, and professional airport services in accordance with the company's commercial, safety, and security policies, standards, and procedures. The supervisor will coordinate with various internal and external agencies to ensure comprehensive operational coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze potential operational issues such as overbookings, adverse weather, delays, and flight cancellations, implementing proactive measures to minimize customer disruption.
• Brief handling agents, caterers, and other service providers on Emirates' daily operational requirements, including special handling needs, and update information as necessary to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
• Oversee all post-flight activities to protect company revenue and facilitate the handling of customers and cargo at en-route stations and destinations.
• Address customer queries, complaints, and claims efficiently to restore passenger confidence.
• Perform various administrative functions and other duties as assigned by the Airport Services Manager or Officer.
• Process baggage claims and manage expenditure related to damaged baggage replacements and lost baggage claims according to established procedures.
• Support and cover the Emirates Ticket Desk, performing ticketing and reservation duties to ensure seamless customer service.
• Coach and develop airport services agents and relevant personnel, ensuring they are fully briefed on operational requirements and deliver expected customer service levels.
• Assist the Airport Services Manager in conducting staff performance reviews, including setting objectives and development plans, and providing feedback within stipulated timelines.
• Diligently carry out credit card verification and travel document checks.
• Support duties in the Emirates lounge when required, liaising with service providers and supervising contracted staff to oversee catering, cleaning, and maintenance operations and ensure service standards are met.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in airport services or a similar operational environment. The position requires a professional who can effectively supervise and coordinate various agencies to maintain high service standards.

Operational Coordination

A key aspect of this role involves supervising and coordinating with internal and external agencies, including handling agents, service providers, other airlines, and various authorities. The objective is to ensure that all relevant areas of airport operations are fully covered and function efficiently.

Customer Service and Compliance
