About the Supervisor Engineering Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Engineering for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of hotel equipment and systems, ensuring operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, apparatus, and equipment.
• Recommend the replacement of tools, apparatus, and equipment as needed.
• Calibrate all controls, indicators, meters, and other relevant instruments.
• Identify, locate, and maintain all shut-off valves within the facility.
• Order, tag, and stock parts and supplies efficiently.
• Manage and control inventory, including recording purchase orders.
• Conduct regular inspections of tools, equipment, and machines.
• Utilize computer systems to insert and retrieve job-related information.
• Operate a forklift as required for material handling.
• Complete life safety checklists, including fire pump and generator operational testing.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems to ensure functionality.
• Assist in the development of accident and/or disaster response protocols.
• Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely manner.

Leadership and Team Support

• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, empowering, and coaching employees.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team objectives.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience.

Physical Requirements and Professional Conduct

• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and personal hygiene.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Perform physical tasks including stretching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and climbing stairs.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
• Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
