Supply Chain & Sales Operations Manager

About the Role

RemoteOne is seeking a Supply Chain & Sales Operations Manager on behalf of a fast-growing Saudi coffee brand. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is critical for managing purchasing, stock, and distributor orders as the brand expands across the GCC and North Africa region. The role requires a hands-on approach to both supply chain and sales operations.

Role Context

Following a successful launch in Saudi Arabia, the business is expanding its operations through leading distributors across the GCC and North Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing these processes, rather than simply overseeing established procedures. This position is suited for professionals with 5-10 years of experience in a growing FMCG or food and beverage business.

Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain & Procurement

• Manage the complete purchasing cycle, including supplier selection, price and quality comparisons, payment terms negotiation, purchase order generation, and delivery follow-up.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers and partners.
• Oversee import and export operations, including shipping, customs clearance, and documentation.
• Plan supply based on approved demand forecasts and adjust plans according to actual sales performance.
• Monitor stock levels across warehouses, ensure accurate inventory records, and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
• Address and resolve supply chain issues such as delayed shipments, incorrect quantities, damaged goods, and invoice discrepancies.
• Identify and implement cost reduction strategies in purchasing without compromising product quality or service levels, adhering to company procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Operations & Distributors

• Process and manage distributor orders across the GCC and North Africa, from order confirmation through to delivery.
• Serve as the primary contact for distributors regarding order status, stock availability, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate logistics for deliveries to distributors and markets.
• Manage product registration and listing requirements in new GCC markets, collaborating with relevant regulatory bodies such as the SFDA.
• Support market launch activities with distributors as the brand expands into new countries.
• Maintain up-to-date order, stock, and sales data, and provide regular reports to management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in both supply chain and sales operations, preferably within a growing FMCG or food and beverage business.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full purchasing cycles, import/export operations, and distributor relationships.
• Strong understanding of logistics coordination and regulatory requirements in the GCC market.
• Proficiency in inventory management and data reporting.
• Candidates must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
