Technical Designer (Joinery and Architectural Fit Out)

About the Role

Tripod Global is seeking an experienced Technical Designer with expertise in joinery and architectural fit-out to join its Joinery Division. This full-time position is based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves translating design concepts into precise technical drawings for production and execution, requiring a strong understanding of joinery, shop drawings, architectural details, and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings, architectural details, and production drawings.
• Develop technical drawings for bespoke furniture, interiors, wall cladding, doors, kitchens, and custom joinery elements.
• Interpret architectural, interior design, and consultant drawings to create accurate joinery solutions.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, project managers, and production teams.
• Ensure drawings align with design intent, project specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Review drawings and incorporate feedback from clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Provide technical support during production and installation stages.
• Maintain accurate drawing records and project documentation.
• Take site measurements and surveys as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in joinery drafting, architectural drafting, or interior fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, joinery construction, and interior materials and finishes.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar software is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes.

Required Attributes

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
