About the Role

Site is seeking a Technical Presales Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the sales process, focusing on client engagement and solution development. The role requires a dynamic individual with a strong technical foundation and excellent communication skills to effectively translate client needs into viable technical solutions.

Role Overview

The Technical Presales Engineer plays a critical role by collaborating closely with clients to gather requirements, clarify the scope of work, and develop detailed Bills of Quantity (BoQ). This position involves analyzing RFPs, validating solutions with vendors, preparing Bills of Materials (BoM), and writing comprehensive technical proposals to ensure proposed solutions meet both technical and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements, project objectives, and expectations.
  • Conduct requirements gathering and clarify the scope of work for proposed solutions.
  • Work with vendors to validate solutions, ensuring they meet the technical and business needs of clients.
  • Collect and verify the Bill of Materials (BoM) for proposed solutions.
  • Analyze RFPs and provide technical input to ensure compliance with client needs.
  • Develop high-quality technical proposals, including detailed solution designs and implementation plans.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as Customer Requirement Documents (CRD), High-Level Designs (HLD), and technical proposals.
  • Provide detailed project deliverables to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and industry standards.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge to enhance solution offerings and ensure client satisfaction.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 5-10 years of experience in a technical presales or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating RFPs and client requirements.
  • Proven ability to validate solutions with vendors and prepare comprehensive technical proposals.
  • Proficiency in developing Bills of Quantity (BoQ) and Bills of Materials (BoM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Solid technical foundation and understanding of relevant industry technologies.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves close collaboration with both internal sales teams and external clients and vendors, operating within a dynamic professional environment.
