The Role of Electrical Technician

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Technician - Electrical to ensure the efficient operation and safety of our electrical systems. This full-time position is essential for maintaining our electrical infrastructure and supporting various operational requirements within our logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using appropriate hand and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, accurately locate the cause of breakdowns, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
• Advise management on any hazardous equipment operations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring and fixtures in accordance with job specifications and local regulatory codes.
• Maintain accurate records and files, prepare necessary reports, and effectively manage supplies and equipment inventory.
• Provide essential assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights, generators, flares, and other required equipment.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in electrical systems and demonstrate a commitment to safety and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar relevant role.
• Proven ability to perform diagnostic, installation, and maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
