Testing and Commissioning Engineer

About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves executing comprehensive testing and commissioning activities to ensure all systems, equipment, and installations meet design specifications, performance standards, and regulatory requirements. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to verify system functionality, identify and resolve technical issues, and document all commissioning activities with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document detailed testing and commissioning plans aligned with project specifications and industry standards.
• Perform systematic testing of equipment, systems, and installations to verify proper operation and compliance with design requirements.
• Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and identify any deficiencies or non-conformances that require resolution.
• Calibrate instruments and equipment to ensure accurate measurement and data collection throughout the testing process.
• Analyze test results and performance data to evaluate system functionality and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to resolve identified problems and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports documenting test procedures, results, observations, and recommendations.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain organized records of all commissioning documentation, test certificates, and equipment certifications.
• Communicate technical findings and status updates to project stakeholders and management in a clear and professional manner.
• Support the transition of systems from commissioning to operational status through knowledge transfer and training.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in testing and commissioning engineering is required.
• Demonstrated ability to execute comprehensive testing and commissioning activities.
• Proficiency in verifying system functionality and resolving technical issues.
• Strong documentation skills for commissioning activities.
