About the Truck Driver Role

Le Meridien is seeking a Truck Driver to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of guests and property assets. The role involves operating company vehicles and maintaining them in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport guests to and from assigned destinations using property vehicles.
• Document all trips prior to the start and at the conclusion of each journey.
• Park vehicles in designated locations when not in use.
• Inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness before and after use.
• Check tire pressure and fluid levels for property vehicles, and refuel as necessary.
• Notify appropriate personnel of any vehicle maintenance needs.
• Document all vehicle incidents, such as damages or accidents, and provide reports to management.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language and exchange information with employees using electronic devices.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Demands and Abilities

This role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including:

• Reading and visually verifying information in various formats.
• Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Moving at a speed required to respond to work situations, such as running, walking, or jogging.
• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or entire work shifts.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
• Navigating sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills, with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
