About the Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking a Vendor Operations Associate Strategic Initiatives to join the MENA Grocery team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on building new business initiatives from the ground up within an innovative and high-impact business environment. The associate will be integral to guiding and supporting vendors to ensure seamless interactions with the company's systems.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist vendors in optimizing their operations on the platform. This involves helping them become proficient in using internal tools and providing hands-on support for various tasks, including purchase order (PO) management and shipment coordination. The role requires close collaboration with vendors to facilitate catalog content procurement, resolve operational issues, and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist vendors in becoming proficient with internal tools and provide ongoing operational support, including PO management and shipment tracking.
• Provide training on catalog content population and procurement processes.
• Interact directly with vendors and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including supply chain, fulfillment, and planning, to enhance vendor performance and operational metrics.
• Take ownership of operational challenges, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Source store-level pricing and promotions from vendors and execute these using internal tools.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position. The role may require work over weekends, but not exceeding a five-day work week. The associate will collaborate with various internal teams, including in-stock managers, vendor managers, program managers, and fulfillment partners.
