About the Waiter Role (Saudi National)

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Waiter (Saudi National) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to delivering exceptional service within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Role Purpose and Guest Experience

This role is central to creating a memorable and unique experience for our guests, extending beyond the mere serving of food and beverages. The Waiter is expected to take initiative, providing a wide range of services to ensure guests thoroughly enjoy their meal and overall dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting tables according to established standards.
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen regarding orders and guest requests.
• Interacting with guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages professionally.
• Cleaning work areas and supplies to maintain hygiene standards.
• Contributing to the creation and maintenance of a safe workplace.
• Following all company policies and procedures.
• Upholding quality standards in service and presentation.
• Ensuring professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication at all times.

Physical Requirements

The Waiter position requires physical activity and stamina. Candidates must be able to perform the following physical demands:

• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Moving over sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery surfaces.
• Managing the menu, which includes reading and visually verifying information.
• Taking a hands-on approach to work, including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants must be a Saudi National.
• 0-1 years of experience in a guest service or hospitality role is required.
• Ability to consistently perform all listed responsibilities and physical requirements effectively.
