Role Overview

Saudi Gold Refinery (SGR) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of industrial and chemical inventory, directly supporting downstream refining operations by ensuring the continuous availability of critical consumables. The position requires strict adherence to safety standards for hazardous materials and accurate inventory control within the ERP system. The Warehouse Supervisor will report to the Supply Chain Manager and is critical for maintaining operational continuity and production efficiency by minimizing stockouts and ensuring rapid processing of inbound logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy above 98% through regular cycle counts and immediate investigation of discrepancies.
• Ensure all chemical reagents are stored in compliance with SASO standards and MSDS requirements to prevent safety incidents.
• Manage shift rosters for warehouse operators to ensure adequate coverage for 24/7 refinery operations.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and coordinate with customs brokers for efficient goods clearance.
• Enforce strict adherence to PTW and LOTO procedures during all warehouse and maintenance interactions.
• Process all goods receipts and issues in the ERP system to ensure real-time visibility of stock levels.
• Optimize warehouse layout and bin locations to improve picking efficiency and maximize storage capacity.
• Provide accurate documentation and physical verification support for internal and external audits.
• Oversee third-party logistics personnel to ensure compliance with SGR site access and safety rules.
• Identify bottlenecks in warehouse workflows and implement solutions to reduce handling time and errors.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably within an industrial or chemical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory accuracy and hazardous materials in compliance with safety standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems for inventory management.
• Experience in coordinating inbound logistics and managing warehouse teams.

Performance Metrics

• Maintain an inventory accuracy rate at or above 98% throughout the fiscal year.
• Achieve zero lost-time injuries or environmental spills in the warehouse area.
• Reduce average time to receive and put away inbound shipments by 15%.
• Maintain physical inventory variance below * of total stock value.
• Ensure all warehouse staff complete mandatory safety and technical training on schedule.
• Meet Saudization targets for warehouse roles in compliance with Nitaqat regulations.
• Resolve internal audit findings related to warehouse controls within 30 days.
