Wood Polisher & Painter

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Wood Polisher & Painter to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves applying various finishes to property surfaces and furniture, ensuring high standards of appearance and maintenance. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• Prepare new surfaces for finish coats by applying primers or sealers.
• Remove old finishes through stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
• Cover surfaces with appropriate protective materials during painting and post relevant paint signs.
• Clean and properly store paint, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capability to move up and down a ladder.
• Skill to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in wood polishing and painting.
• Demonstrated ability to apply various finishes accurately and efficiently.
• Understanding of safety procedures related to painting and finishing work.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
