About the Role

RETZN is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing financial transactions, overseeing client collections, and supporting the preparation of technical and financial proposals for projects. The Accountant will ensure the accuracy of financial records and the smooth flow of cash.

Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting Operations:
  • Record accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses).
  • Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and submit them to relevant authorities.
  • Review and document invoices and vouchers.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare income statements and balance sheets.
  • Analyze variances between approved budgets and actual performance.
  • Provide periodic reports to management.
• Collections:
  • Monitor client receivables and issue collection statements.
  • Communicate with clients to collect overdue payments.
  • Update aging reports and submit collection reports.
• Project Technical and Financial Proposals:
  • Gather and prepare financial data for project price proposals.
  • Calculate material, labor, and furniture costs for projects.
  • Assist in analyzing project feasibility and preparing presentation proposals.
  • Monitor projects and prepare technical and financial proposals for "Etimad" platform tenders.
• Compliance and Archiving:
  • Apply approved accounting policies and standards.
  • Organize and archive financial documents systematically.
  • Collaborate with auditors and provide required documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in accounting.
• Thorough knowledge of financial systems and the Saudi Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority regulations.
