Role Purpose
The Safety Officer will be instrumental in maintaining safety standards at our project site in the Al-Jouf Region. This includes the implementation of HSE policies, monitoring compliance, managing risks, and supporting continuous improvement in health and safety performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities & Key Activities

• Safety Management: Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures, and conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Risk Assessment & Reporting: Perform job safety analyses and prepare HSE reports.
• Training & Awareness: Deliver HSE inductions and promote a safety culture among teams.
• Incident Management: Investigate incidents and maintain accurate records.
• Continuous Improvement: Support the implementation of HSE initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations.

Job Specifications
Industry: Construction Industry
Experience: 1–5 years in HSE roles within construction projects preferred.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety; NEBOSH, IOSH certification preferred.
Skills: Risk assessment, incident investigation, strong documentation, and proficiency in MS Office.

HYKAL is seeking a highly experienced Safety Officer with 8 years of HSE experience, including at least 4 years in airport or aviation-related projects. This role demands a strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations, airport safety standards, and international safety codes.

Position: Safety Officer

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Occupational Health, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of HSE experience, including at least 4 years on airport or aviation-related projects.
• NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations, airport safety standards, and international safety codes.
• Proven experience in implementing, monitoring, and improving HSE management systems.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and accident investigations effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for coordinating with site teams, contractors, and authorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, HSE reporting software, and safety documentation.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
