Role Purpose
The Safety Officer will be instrumental in maintaining safety standards at our project site in the Al-Jouf Region. This includes the implementation of HSE policies, monitoring compliance, managing risks, and supporting continuous improvement in health and safety performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities & Key Activities

Safety Management: Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures, and conduct regular site inspections and audits.
Risk Assessment & Reporting: Perform job safety analyses and prepare HSE reports.
Training & Awareness: Deliver HSE inductions and promote a safety culture among teams.
Incident Management: Investigate incidents and maintain accurate records.
Continuous Improvement: Support the implementation of HSE initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations.

Job Specifications
Industry: Construction Industry
Experience: 1–5 years in HSE roles within construction projects preferred.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety; NEBOSH, IOSH certification preferred.
Skills: Risk assessment, incident investigation, strong documentation, and proficiency in MS Office.

ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable.

Proven experience in implementing, monitoring, and improving HSE management systems.
Ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and accident investigations effectively.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for coordinating with site teams, contractors, and authorities.
Proficiency in MS Office, HSE reporting software, and safety documentation.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
