About the Role

Acwa China is seeking experienced ARCS Technicians to join our team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on the installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical access control, radio communication, and security systems. The role requires a professional committed to ensuring all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with established company standards and client requirements.

Role Overview

The ARCS Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of essential infrastructure. This involves hands-on work with various security and communication technologies, ensuring their continuous operation and adherence to technical specifications. The technician will be responsible for both proactive maintenance and reactive fault resolution across diverse project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, and communication systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ARCS equipment and associated hardware.
• Troubleshoot system faults and execute repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and documentation.
• Support system upgrades, modifications, and expansions as required.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients during installation and maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency service calls and technical issues when required.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential operational problems before failures occur.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, testing devices, and company equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of access control, radio communication, and security systems. A strong understanding of technical drawings, system schematics, and industry safety standards is essential. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform detailed system testing is required.

Working Environment and Physical Demands

The role involves working in various environments, including indoors and outdoors at client sites, construction projects, industrial facilities, and company locations. Travel between project sites may be required. Occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency support may also be necessary. Physical requirements include:

• Ability to lift and carry technical equipment and tools.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions when necessary.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
