The Role of Cybersecurity Manager

The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s cybersecurity framework. This full-time position ensures that information systems, networks, data, and technology assets are protected against cybersecurity risks and threats. The role involves managing cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, vulnerability remediation, security policies, incident response, and continuous improvement activities, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and applicable regulatory requirements in Tabuk, specifically in Umluj and Tabuk.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management framework.
• Monitor and manage cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, incidents, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls are implemented, maintained, and aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Oversee security assessments, audits, and remediation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Evaluate and support the secure adoption of new technologies, systems, and third-party services.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization through training and engagement initiatives.
• Provide regular reporting and strategic cybersecurity insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Ensure effective security architecture, protection, and detection capabilities are in place to safeguard organizational assets.
• Drive continuous improvement of the organization’s cybersecurity posture and operational effectiveness.

Collaboration and Reporting

The Cybersecurity Manager will work closely with senior management, internal stakeholders, IT teams, and third parties. This collaboration is essential for integrating cybersecurity requirements into business continuity and disaster recovery plans, new technologies, IT systems, outsourcing, and other business initiatives. The role also involves providing clear reporting on the organization’s cybersecurity posture, promoting security awareness, and ensuring appropriate resources and controls are in place to support cybersecurity objectives.

Required Experience
