Role Overview: Food and Beverage Team Leader

Miraval The Red Sea is seeking a Food and Beverage Team Leader to join its team in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to elevating service standards, strengthening operational consistency, and embedding a culture of quality across the outlet. The Team Leader will focus on colleague training, quality mindset development, and operational support to ensure every guest interaction aligns with Miraval’s principles of mindfulness, balance, and authentic connection. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Promote and reinforce Miraval’s service and quality standards within the outlet.
  • Conduct regular service audits, workflow observations, and quality checks to ensure operational consistency.
  • Identify service gaps and collaborate with leadership to implement corrective actions.
  • Support daily operations to ensure smooth service flow and adherence to Miraval standards.
  • Assist the team during peak periods, providing calm, mindful, and guest-focused service.
  • Monitor cleanliness, setup, and readiness of service areas in alignment with Miraval guidelines.
  • Engage with guests to understand their needs and ensure personalized, mindful service.
  • Support the collection and analysis of guest feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in service recovery efforts with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with Culinary, Wellness, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Stewarding teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Colleague Development and Training

  • Assist the Assistant Outlet Manager in onboarding new colleagues, ensuring understanding of service rituals, operational procedures, and Miraval values.
  • Deliver on-the-job training focused on service excellence, guest engagement, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain training logs, track progress, and support colleagues in achieving competency milestones.
  • Conduct refresher trainings within the F&B team to sustain high performance and consistency.
  • Act as a role model for professional behavior, communication, and guest interaction.
  • Support the creation of a strong quality mindset among colleagues through daily coaching and positive reinforcement.

Work Environment and Expectations

This role operates within a fast-paced, luxury resort environment that requires adaptability, mindfulness, and a strong focus on guest-centered service. The position demands flexibility to work a varied schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs dictate.
