About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to join their team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on overseeing and enforcing occupational safety and environmental compliance for a significant infrastructure development project. The HSE Supervisor will be instrumental in promoting a zero-incident culture and ensuring adherence to stringent safety protocols across a large-scale, fast-paced mega-project site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits across construction zones, addressing unsafe practices and halting work when immediate hazards are identified.
  • Review contractor Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Method Statements, and Risk Assessments to ensure adequate mitigation strategies are in place before high-risk activities commence.
  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations, including root-cause analysis, detailed report preparation, and tracking corrective action implementation.
  • Monitor contractor tool-box talks, deliver site HSE inductions, and foster a proactive safety culture among a diverse workforce.
  • Ensure all site operations comply with Parsons' HSE management plan, client requirements, and Saudi Arabian regulations. Maintain comprehensive safety records.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of dedicated experience in construction health and safety, with a background in large-scale infrastructure, heavy civil, or commercial developments.
  • A Bachelor's degree or a recognized technical diploma in Safety, Engineering, or Environmental Sciences.
  • Mandatory NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate).
  • Professional certifications such as OSHA 30, IOSH, or valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in international safety codes and standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Practical understanding of scaffolding safety, heavy lifting, excavation safety, and heat stress management in desert environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Experience and Skills

  • Direct experience working on Saudi Arabian giga-projects, such as NEOM, Red Sea Global, or Amaala, is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate aggressive project timelines and extreme weather conditions.
  • Possession of the leadership presence and diplomatic firmness necessary to enforce safety rules effectively with contractors and construction managers.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position requiring relocation to and work within the Tabuk region of Saudi Arabia. The role is situated on a massive infrastructure development, involving complex and fast-paced mega-project site zones.
