The Role: Senior Accounting Officer

Almarai is seeking a dedicated Senior Accounting Officer to join its finance team in Tabuk. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the accuracy of financial records and strengthening internal controls. The role supports the finance department in various accounting functions, contributing to reliable financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accounting Officer will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, including:

  • Managing cash flow operations.
  • Performing financial reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
  • Handling period-end activities efficiently and accurately.
  • Managing costing processes within the organization.
  • Performing SAP validations to ensure system integrity.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Providing on-the-job support and guidance to the broader finance team.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a recognized university.
  • 0–2 years of accounting experience gained within a commercial organization.

Preferred Background and Eligibility

While not strictly mandatory, candidates with experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sectors are preferred. Additionally, applicants must meet the minimum credit hours required for eligibility for SOCPA (Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants) membership.
